The SSPCA are feeling the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown and has launched an urgent appeal for donations. Creature Comforts pet shop located in Mugdock Road, Milngavie has teamed up with Bearsden Dog Training Club and kindly donated to the SSPCA Dunbartonshire.
Orders have been made from the centre’s wish list of items on behalf of the dog club and added in some of their own donations, then directly delivered the goods to the centre earlier this month.
This will be the businesses’ first of many monthly donations during the Covid19 lockdown period, doing their part to help the centre as much as they can during these uncertain times.
Creature Comforts is a family owned independent business run by husband and wife, they set up their first shop in Clarkston in 1997 and have since grown the Creature Comforts family with the opening of a second shop in Milngavie in 2002, Shawlands in 2011 and more recently Burnside in 2017.
Creature Comforts have remained opened as an essential business during the lockdown period. They are continuing to serve local residents with pet supplies whilst offering a free delivery service to anyone who is unable or doesn’t feel comfortable leaving the house to collect supplies.
Their revised opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm. To place your order visit CreatureComfortsGlasgow.com or phone 0141 956 1999.
