The Milngavie BID – representing 150 businesses in Milngavie – in collaboration with our gift card provider, have teamed up with Collection Pot to offer a crowd funding service to say a big thank you to key workers who are working on the front line during the COVID-19 crisis.

Collection Pot is a flexible and secure online environment to enable everyone in the community to come together and collect funds for our care workers.

The process is simple.

You decide which ‘Pot’ you would like to donate to and click through to place your donation in your preferred Pot.

When a Pot reaches £20, a Milngavie Gift Card will be sent to the venue of your choice for a key worker.

Participating venues will provide us the name of staff member(s) to address the gift card to, with a personal message to them.

The Milngavie BID team will load up gift cards to the value of £20 each and send to the key worker’s place of work.

Milngavie.co.uk Collection Pot to support key workers and local businesses

Collection Pots

Donate to a General Pot.
We will allocate between key workers at each venue.

Donate to Pot 1 – Home Instead, Milngavie
Providing the highest quality help and support for older people in the comfort of their own homes where they feel most happy and comfortable.

Donate to Pot 2 – Blue Bird Care, Milngavie & Bearsden
Bluebird Care provides the highest quality of home care in Dunbartonshire.

Donate to Pot 3 – Graeme Pharmacy, Milngavie for Local Food Bank
The staff have collectively decided that any donations should be passed on to a local food bank. Choose this Pot for local food banks to hand out.

The more that is raised for each Pot, the more £20 gift cards we can issue to key workers.

This will also provide a direct benefit to the businesses in Milngavie as the gift cards can only be used in participating businesses.

The key worker can use the Milngavie Gift Card in any of the 55 participating local and national businesses. It can be used from anything to buying a cup of coffee, some groceries, a meal out, a facial or a hair cut and much more in Milngavie.

To suggest another Pot to add to the list, please contact the Milngavie BID team direct on enquiries@milngaviebid.com

Please support our key workers and local businesses by donating to a Collection Pot.
